I like Vance, but I looooves me some Raisin. Just you guys wait until Raisin leaves the country for two weeks and I (or God forbid, Jon) am left to take care of starting the minor league threads. It will surely go to hell with him gone. I've filled in for him before, and I'll say that it takes a lot of time and effort. He makes it much easier for all of us to get our minor league info. Len IS awesome. Len is awesome. But I didn't totally dig this call. He had alot of energy, AT FIRST. But then his kermit the frog voice wasn't able to support his emotion and he lost some of the, depth of his voice. And the "oh baby" just didn't hav the "oomph" that I would expect out of a follow up phrase. 8.5 out of 10. I'm still remembering the Walker superman slide and Chip's call. That imo, was the best TV cubs win call I can remember. Say what you want about chip, but he called a GREAT homer, and great win. i disagree 100%. len is amazing and that call might be my favorite cubs tv call ever. len sounded 100% genuine in his excitement. DEEP LEFT CENTER!!!! CUUUUUUBBBBSSSS WIN!!!! It was truly awesome. I must have watched it 15 times on my DVR. I love Len, in spite of the fact he sometimes doesn't recognize a homer until it is in the stands. Chip had a better voice and had one of the best home run calls around. Having said that, Len seems to care a lot more, knows a lot more and is generally awesome. Len FTW. Len is so much better of a pbp guy than Chip, it's really insulting to Len to compare the two. It's like comparing Vin Scully to Joe Carter in terms of broadcasters.... To be fair, Chip was much better at recognizing homers off the bat and calling them. But that's about it. That's because Chip would raise his voice on a cheap pop up to shallow left. It made it seem he recognized the homer earlier, when in reality Chip used the inflection far too often. Len at least saves his excitement for when he is sure it is deserved. "SWUNG ON BELTED...and Eckstein makes the catch."

I vote UK. He has a good chance to make the final four.

Oh it sucks now. I saw an episode recently (the one when Stephanie started school and she was scared!), and the jokes were terrible. But when I was 7 or 8 I religiously watched the show. Don't admit you didn't too!

RAISIN! RAISIN! RAISIN!! Raisins are good, especially when they're covered in chocolate. Raisin's my vote for the rest of the way. If he's eliminated there's no justice in this world! Besides, USSoccer looks like it should be the name of someone's boat.

Thank you! I never "watched" the show. One of the kids I babysit for loves the show and she was watching it. She explained to me that Hannah Montana is a regular teenage girl by day....BUT A FAMOUS SINGER BY NIGHT!! Riveting stuff! It'll never beat the awesomeness that is Full House or Saved By The Bell.

Jon says a lot of stuff. All bark no bite, though. And this is a point for any weather nerds on the fence (Truffle, I'm looking at you): I once tried to explain warm/cold fronts to Jon for about 30 minutes, and he still didn't get the concept. Pathetic!!

Here's why you should vote for me!! I like the Cubs, sports, and good TV. I came up with the nickname, "The Don." If you ever use that nickname, you should vote for me. If you don't, you should still vote for me. JON HATES ALL YOUR SCHOOLS - BIG 10 (especially Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio State) PLUS NOTRE DAME. It's true! I think he even hates NU. Jon didn't want me to start the Scrubs thread because he didn't think people would care (you know, the one that's like 15 pages now). Jon doubted your sense of humor, people. How can you vote for him? On that same vein, I got Jon hooked on Scrubs. He's voting for me because of that (he might deny it, but I know in my heart of hearts that it's true). He misses The Office for..."work." Jon sucks at minor league boxes, but I did a damn good job on mine!

As has been previously stated, I always learned that it didn't matter. You just step with whichever foot comes up when you get there. We were taught not to stutter step to make it the right foot because it slows you down.
