Having Schwarber in there to "lengthen" the lineup as Joe just said in his presser, hopefully helps lessen pressure on other guys as well. I know everyone keeps talking about the need to get to Cleveland's starters early to avoid Miller/Allen with a lead. But when the Cubs have a rally like they did tonight vs Bauer, it's critical it be a big one. Otherwise It's 2 or 3 and done. Seems they've been coming up one hit short from a breakout all series.

Let's get copious shots of the Indians champagne on ice, waiting but unused at Wrigley. Then footage of their players disappointed at having to travel back to Cleveland and waiting for a game Tuesday. Then shots again of the champagne on ice, waiting, waiting, forever waiting but unused at Progressive Field. The second act of the "Tale of Two Series" storyline begins tonight. GO CUBS!

I just made the trip to the future in my time machine, and all I'm allowed to say without causing all kinds of trouble is: You're not wrong. Also: Having an NFL team in London turns out to be a horrible idea. But you probably guessed that already.

I remain optimistic. But clearly outplayed through 3+ games now, despite some tough luck. And one wheel definitely seems a little loose, should check on it before they all start coming off.
