    He got busted on a non-analytical positive for hCG, after previously failing a test for artificial testosterone. MLB wasn't sure it could get the suspension to stick if they went after whatever he used to boost his testosterone. The suspension is the same for either, so they went with the one he couldn't fight.

    Gaudin is only a year older than Patton, and a year and a half younger than Guzman. I would have liked to see him get a chance to turn it around for the Cubs. Supposedly the Cubs kept Guzman to use in a Peavy trade. :glare:

    I'd like to see them offer something cheaper for one team's games. I only want to see the Bears games, and I have no interest in any other games. Not going to pay $300 for that.

    Definitely sounds like knock-offs, but it's odd that a site that appears to be reputable is selling them. A site that mentions wholesale dropshipping from china appears reputable?

    LOL: The only first baseman on the list of potential roster replacements is Derrek Lee of the Chicago Cubs, who has been hampered by a sore thigh. Dunn said Johnson asked him after Tuesday night's game if he would play first, and since Dunn was signed as an outfielder/first baseman with the Nats, he figured it wouldn't be an issue. "I don't even know where I'm playing with the Nationals," Dunn said. "It's true, I really don't." He added he had packed his first-base glove with him, and then quipped his defensive skills are on par with Omar Vizquel. "That's the only player I can compare my hands to," Dunn joked.

    Marmol gave up zippy inthe first game. Volquez took the loss even though he gave up no earned runs. Weird, ESPN has him listed as 0-2. They do have Volquez as the loser of the first game though.

    It's spring training. The meaningless games haven't even started yet. What is wrong with a column like that? Do you really want the "Johnson really worked out extra hard this year in hopes of putting the disappointing 2008 season behind him" article, or the "Smith thinks he's ready to finally put it all together and translate his skills into success at the plate" column? i also enjoy the "Joe Schmo lost 30 lbs. in the off season and looks great". *Puts Joe Schmo at top of Yahoo draft list*

    The story that was posted last page is one example, here's a quote from that article: Seems like an odd predicament for Dunn. If he only wants to play the OF, there aren't many teams willing to shell out big money for his poor defense/plus plate production. If he'd be willing to play 1b, I could imagine several teams willing to shell out big money for his ?? 1b defense/plus plate production. He may just have to accept a move to 1b whether he likes it or not. With that in mind, The Giants would be a perfect fit. They need offense badly, and they dont have a legit 1B. That way, they wouldnt have to give up one of their young pitchers for Prince Fielder of someone similar. Three of their top prospects are 1B (Sandoval probably will end up at 1B). I'm not sure they would be interested in Lee.

    NO NO NO! I'm sure it's nothing but speculation, but still. Other than DeRosa not being at 2B, what's so bad about this? Anything to get him outta SS IMO. Mike Fontenot is a better player than Theriot.

His forecast is the league mean over 200 PA, 60 IP (starter) or 25 IP (reliever). If you want to know what the league mean is, just take the average of anyone forecast with a reliability of 0.00. So, Marcel's official forecast for anyone coming over from Japan is that. " Nothing to be optimistic about, if you don't use Japanese stats. One crappy year in MLB plus two assumed league mean seasons.
