    today during the astros/cardinals game the announcer(fox STL) said "apparently there is already a contract extension in place for Dusty, the cubs front office is just waiting for the right time to announce it" i hope he was just blowing smoke but according to him the deal is done

    so, today i'm watchin the Cards/Astro game and while discussing the upcoming Cards/Cubs series the announcer says "apparently there is already a deal in place to extend Bakers contract, Cubs management is just waiting for the right time to announce it" has anyone heard anything like this anywhere else?

    damn, the cobs won? i missed the game cause evidently NC is in the Cin market and i was blacked out, better watch today to insure the loss...oh wait, damn Cin market(takes me a day and a half to drive to Cin) XM radio the rescue...i can listen to them lose

    yeah im 29years but it doesnt fit too well lately, and its not the way the cubs have been playin, i cursed the organization about 2 weeks ago and am kind of reveling in their play, its fun to watch the cubs play like this while feeling serious venom towards them

    i never noticed it, but i agree with you if its true. bugs the crap outta me when i see ppl at the park with their hats on, talking, conducting business etc. during the anthem.

    do they use the same clips for the intro to games on WGN for every game? i saw myself in the left field bleachers on todays intro kinda funny considering i root against the cubs these days
