  1. lmfrao, aint none of them down south here...even if there was, it would be an hours journey...30 to where it would be and 30 back See there, I'm having one of them senior moments. In my mind, you're still on Addison st and not back down in North Carolina. Reality is highly overrated, no? it was 65 and sunny today!

  4. i watched it live on WGN, in a bar with my at the time gf, we were talking about marriage, she wasnt happy about me being such a baseball nut, but i agreed to give up hockey for her....rewatching that ballgame was pretty painful for me, reminds me of a time when life was good, when i wasnt an angry drunk, when i was a nice person.

  13. hey man, Z is what he is. he hits like you want your 5 spot guy to hit...its great, but its nothing new, we've been watching him for years no offense meant, but /yawn
  14. This is an incredibly naive rudimentary sabermetric belief. Attempting to steal a base is a good idea in tons of situations - and with the notable exception of the first six weeks last season, Theriot's been incredibly efficient at stealing bases. I'm afraid Alphonso Soriano will lose a foot en route to second base. Ryan Theriot hurt us on the bases last year. Neither validate your initial premise nor confute mine. many people refuse to believe that their generalizations arent true pete is a god!!111!!111!!

  24. i actually said something about how quiet it was to the guy next to me. it was the top of the 4th inning...he agreed. you could feel how nervous the crowd was. even the reaction to the DeRo homer was somehow hollow, like the crowd could feel what was coming.
  25. i just walked out the door, walked to the bus stop, almost got on a bus and realized i didnt have my tickets #-o ok, headin to the ball park GO CUBS!!
