    Just act like an arrogant jackass all the time no matter how deserved your cockiness is. As much as i hate them I really wish i could have reason to be that damn cocky. Even just one year. Yeah it kinda sucks. I'm sure eventually one of our teams will win it all. I just hope they do it while I'm young enough to celebrate (meaning living in the city, childless so I can handle going out, getting drunk and celebrating) Exactly. I've only got one more year (for sure) of living in the city right now. After I graduate who knows where i'll end up. It would be special; especially with my job, to get it done next year. I live on-campus at UIC right now so it would be awesome to have even another NLCS year during these years.

    I was with you until the word lose. Then you completely lost me. I'm not sure what you mean. Both teams lost game 5 on the road before returning home for games 6 and 7. Petitte and Sabathia = Prior and Wood? Prior + Wood = Sabathia's Weight

'We have nothing to fear but fear itself' - just words? Just speeches? Ok, first off you're comparing a press conference of an owner of a professional sports team to the civil rights movement. That's like comparing apples to monster trucks. Right now, what Mr. Ricketts is saying sounds good, but Outshined is right... until he backs them up with results, they're just words. I'm not saying I don't think he'll do it, however. jesus christ chill out. I was just quoting an Obama speech during the Primary when Hillary said Obama is all words and no action.. and that was his response which gained controversy because it has been used before. I thought most people here would remember that.

    Kreutz is going nowhere. He should. How old is he now? How long is his contract? How much longer do we have to put up with him? He's 32. On October 2006, Kreutz was signed to a three year contract extension through the 2010 season.

    This keeps bugging me... I cringe every time its a 3rd and long situation with the Bears on defense. I know the other team will pass it, and the Bears secondary scares the [expletive] out of me. It feels like the other team converts almost every time. I would honestly rather have it be 3rd and short, because I'm confident in the run defense. Maybe I'm just paranoid. I felt the same way last year, and the year before that about our defense. The only thing that really makes me confident this year is our special team and offense keeping the game alive. Any thoughts?
