    0-0 game. Peavy gets traded for Z in the 3rd inning. The 2 pitchers switch teams. Z shuts the Cubs out through 7 innings. Peavy gives up 4 runs to the Padres in the next inning. Padres 4-0.

    I would much rather watch a Bears football game than a Cubs baseball game. There are 16 Bears games, 162 Cubs... The anticipation/excitement per game is a lot higher.

    Someone help me out here. there was a guy, 2004 or 2005 Cubs Minor League Player of the year. 2B or 3B, and then, he got injured, may have been a broken leg and he was never heard from again. David Kelton? I think that's the most likely answer (even though it was actually his shoulder, not a broken leg). Another possibility if he got the position wrong might be Nic Jackson. 1998 draft pick. Bust. Grand total of 1 RBI for the Cubs... Retired in 2006.

    I think Santo should sing it every day. This guest conductor crap grew old a long time ago. I agree. =D> I like having guests. It gives watching a game some variety with the interview in the bottom 7th. Its entertaining like a talk show right after the stretch.

    What is the Cubs record when they retire a number? I remember Cubs lost when they retired Santos, and they lost miserably when they retired Sandberg's. What about Banks and Williams?
