  5. that guy's [expletive] reaction was hilarious and he's horrible at yelling, you're supposed to make a concave shape away from your mouth to project, convex merely holds it in. But seriously, did Heyward horsefeathers on a Lou Brock statue on his way out?
  6. Why are the GFIBs booing Heyward?
  7. JD's voice sounds like Bob's, somewhat.
  8. He must've been pissed when Lester avoided this fate yesterday. Lester made it to 100 ABs.
  9. Complete game, one hitter.
  10. Fun fact: according to Wikipedia, JD holds the major league record for most at-bats without an extra base hit, with 373.

  18. Yeah thats my issue with it, whats the difference between a blooper that squeezes in vs. a well struck grounder that a fielder plays off his mitt? The whole idea of the error introduces this strange moral element about whether the hitter "deserves" to be on base or whether the fielder "should" have gotten it. It totally warps how we think about defense too. Its just an archaic relic and we shouldn't have them, but I don't expect we'll ever get rid of them anytime soon. a well struck ball off a mitt is often credited as a hit the strikezone is in the same spirit of arbitrariness, but at least that has potential technological solution that will be implemented before 2030.
