I kinda like them together just because you never know what crazy crap will come out. Though, that would probably be the case if you paired ANYONE with Knight. During the KU-Baylor game Knight said: No football team does a good job at pass defense. The Morris twins would be guards in the NBA Perry Jones wasn't a first rounder. He'd take the Morris twins over Perry Jones. Thomas Robinson is a better outside shooter than the Morris twins. That a 3 pointer to extend the lead to 20 with about 6 minutes left in the game was the biggest shot in the 2nd half.

Oh god we are so bad, we are probably only gonna win 95 percent of our games this year, woe is me. Sorry snood, but I hate you guys so much. Have a rebuilding year for christsakes. i can respect that kind of hate. Ty Taylor will be the death of me, though.

That also describes 98 percent of college basketball teams compared to KU. So, umm...point taken? Why are you complaining about Mizzou in this thread anyway? I don't recall the Tigers playing KU tonight. Because I watched some of their game today. ANd because other posters started discussing the fouling that went on in the game.

As much as I hate Mizzou, Baylor runs a close second. Scott Drew is my least favorite college coach, with the exception of Cal. Smarmy, underhanded, and totally unlikeable. Today, during Baylor's pregame intro video, they played highlights of KU's loss to UNI. I'm glad we didn't actually have to play UNI. Would've been a tougher game.

KU fans have integrity, so they were always disappointed with the way Aldrich used to manhandle people, and thrilled when he decided to declare for the draft. Missouri teams have more uncalled hacks in a half than CA did in his whole career. That'd be hard to do, seeing as how Aldrich's entire game was built on pummeling players of lesser quality. His skills have really translated to the NBA, too. Couldn't have described Mizzou better myself.

the way taylor handles the ball, mizzou won't have to hack. They'll just pick his pocket.

It gets boring when you copy/paste the same whining from the last time you complained about Mizzou's defense. Even if Mizzou homered KSU out of the building, it would probably be justified after what happened to them at aTm. But they didn't, and the complaints ring especially hollow from KSU, whose idea of help defense is having three 6-10 guys trying to bludgeon you after you walk past their guards. if their defensive style hasn't changed, why should I change my complaint about it? Don't see you denying it. KSU is pretty hacky, too. Like I said, it wasn't the difference in the game today. And Mizzou was on the short end of some calls at aTm. But still..reach, hack, slap, repeat.

After Mizzou pushed the game out of reach I checked the box score and Mizzou had 2 fewer fouls and had shot 1 fewer FT. Plus K-State is a pretty foul happy team in general. the fact mizzou is EVER called for fewer fouls than the other team is a joke. All they do is reach in and slap, reach in and slap. Fran even said to prepare for Mizzou, make sure your scout team hacks a lot. Their philosophy is hack all the time, the refs can't call all of them. It wasn't, however, the difference in this game.

MSU isn't very good. You should win at home. As frustrating as this team is I see us winning the next four games and maybe five if we can show some guts at Northwestern. I still don't think we'll lose a home game this year. Plus remember, Tisdale's M.O. is play one bad game, play one good game, bad game, good game.... so he'll have a good game Tuesday night. You honestly think this team is going to beat Ohio State? I sure as hell dont Yep. I'm still not certain just how good Ohio State is. They are a very good team but i'm not sold that they are the best in the country. I don't remember their Big Ten schedule to this point, but non-conference Florida was their best win. Plus, the Assembly Hall crowd will be hype and Tisdale and Davis will have a good game because they basically pick and choose when they will have good games. I don't think we will lose a home game this year. I think they're the best team in the country. Fortunately, this year the gap between the best team in the country and the 30th best team on the country isn't what it normally is. So playing a good UI team on the road will be tough. But tOSU is the best, with Duke also being in the conversation.

What a faceplant for KSU this year. For real, and I'm not sure it's going to get any better. What's their guardplay going to be like without Pullen? Terrible. As for this year, they'll get a shot in the arm when Kelly comes back, but still, check their schedule over the next 5: vsTTU @#12 MIZZ @#13 TA&M vs BAY @#3 KU They could easily lose four of those games. Tech probably won't be a problem.

Haha, do you boo on every possession like every isu fan? Your post guys couldn't stop Mc Morris. I think ISU is in good hands with Hoiberg though. Edited to remove mention of FTs. I thought we missed more than we did.

I watch Rose play and I don't understand how KU beat his Memphis team in the finals. He's amazing, and he's 10x better than any other player on the floor that night. That dunk tonight was absolutely bananas.

when this team concentrates and plays with focus, they're pretty good. UNfortunately, they only do that about 20-25 minutes per game.
