  1. Huh? there's so much wrong with that post, i didn't even bother to highlight any one portion.
  2. and now cbs leaves the game for the zona/oregon game
  3. why doesn't Missouri run more offense through Bowers? I think he's a really good player.
  4. this is hideous basketball
  5. what ahppened on that play? did morris pull moore down? why is the crowd booing?
  6. KU is up 4, but it feels like we're down 7.
  7. man this team is sloppy with the ball. mizzou might force 30 TOs
  8. Not to sound all Sulley, but these refs suck.
  9. "I'm in this for the long haul." then pats wig in back to make sure it isn't starting to come up. I was looking all over for that quote, but couldn't figure out how to search for it. Type in hair piece and sneaking out in the middle of the night. The good thing is that carousel worked out great for all three schools.
  10. He said he was gonna win a National Championship there, so it's clear he's not above lying.
  11. I could see him leaving. It all depends on if Arkansas really is his dream job.
  12. He's either going to Iowa or the Big 12 so you'll get your fill of him either way. I think KU is recruiting him, but they haven't offered. From what I;ve heard, there's a very good chance he ends up at one of the Oklahoma schools.
  13. i love how he's hamming it up with that shimmy, then slips and almost turns it over on that drive.
  14. yes, but barely
  15. That was brutal. I am wondering how the hell Kansas missed on the good Releford though? i think there was talk he didn't like how travis was riding bench. I still think Travis will be a solid player though. He does nice things on the court when he gets time.
  16. To be fair, nebraska has only lost two home games this year--KU and KSU. I don't know how confident I'd be of a road win there if I were a Mizzou fan.
  17. kudos to KSU for turning it around this season. I have to agree with tadowdaddy--I think they beat Mizzou at a neutral court right now. Also, man has Texas tanked here at the end of the season. They've lost 3/4, all to teams on the bubble at the time of their game. And they could definitely lose @ Baylor, too. They've been pretty unlucky in close game though. Five of their six (SIX!) losses have come by 5 pts or less. (2, 1, 3, 2, 5) And finally, looks like KU can clinch at least a share of its 7th straight conference title if they can beat aTm in Lawrence on Wednesday. I don't know what KU will do in the tourney this year. I could see us winning it all, and I could see us losing in the second round. I'm a bit of a pessimist, so I smell an early exit. They play inconsistently. That said, kudos to Self for building another potential conference champ and title contender, even after losing his starting PG/go-to player and two guys to the NBA draft.
  18. Pullen has been playing out of his mind recently.
  19. No but as long as he keeps recruiting like this he's going to ocassionally get lucky and make deep runs like that. If you're Baylor that's pretty good. He has the #5 player in the country coming next year and the #2 player in '12 along with another top 50 kid next year. I agree that, for Baylor, talent and a lucky run every now and again are pretty good. But man, Drew is not a good coach. This year he has on his roster: Sr LaceDarius Dunn (5*, #6 SG from 2007) Jr Anthony Jones (4*, #6 SF from 2008) Jr J'Mison Morgan (5*, #3 C from 2008) So Nolan Dennis (4*, #16 SG from 2009) Fr Perry Jones III (5*, #3 C from 2010) and a several athletic role players. And he hasn't done squat with them, in a Big 12 with only 2 elite teams. Everyone else in the league is beatable, yet they'll struggle to get to .500.
  20. Keiton Page is ugly.
  21. KU pg Tyshawn Taylor suspended indefinitely. This team has round 2 exit written all over it.
  22. He's definitely going to KU now. I don't think he'll be eligible to play anywhere. I doubt there's even enough KU pixie dust to make that happen. I was just kinda waiting to be let down with him a la Releford, so I'm not too bummed to hear that. How would him not playing HS ball make him ineligible though? Did he get kicked off for grades or also get kicked out of school? Hopefully they can still find someone, I'm half convinced they need the next Tiller more than they need an offensive dynamo right now anyway, so maybe it'll work out. Just an update on this question RE: eligibility--both the rivals and scout recruiting gurus have said McLemore was already in the danger zone when it came to qualifying. Leaving Oak Hill makes the likelihood of him getting his academics in order seem unlikely, according to them.
  23. look at ramirez, motioning for the ball to come to him instead of showing some hustle and getting after it.

Hopefully they can still find someone, I'm half convinced they need the next Tiller more than they need an offensive dynamo right now anyway, so maybe it'll work out. Because from what I understand, a big part of the attraction to Oak Hill was getting his academics in order. The school he went to in St. Louis was closed, iirc, and there was talk that simply another public school wouldn't give provide him the guidance, etc. needed to get his academics in order. I could be totally wrong. The eligibility thing was my own personal conjecture. ETA: now the story is he left Oak Hill, not that he was kicked off. So that's something.
