When is your deadline? hour fifteen ago, but i pressed and got it pushed back til 12:10... which passed 10 minutes ago hopefully it ends and i can write something or something crosses the wire soon enough to get it in a late edition or something. either way, im here till it ends and it goes up on the website. what happens if it doesn't end very soon? is there a backup plan or something, like run some canned story or promote another story up to top billing and write "the mlb all-star game ended too late for publication" What paper does imb! write for? he's the MLB correspondent on Roast's blog.

Stopped when I saw ND at 22. They get favoritism in basketball too I guess. To have them over Purdue (and I'm sure a couple other teams) just isn't right. Purdue and ND's win percentage are very close (both in the mid 60's). They are close in pretty much every way and are perhaps the two best programs without a title (can't think of another at the moment). The different is Purdue's extra final four appearance and the fact that Purdue has the most Big Ten titles more so than the other 5 or so Big Ten schools that will likely be on the list. I would probably exclude both from the top 25 due to lack of title (would have to research the schools that aren't in to make sure) but if one gets in its the one that has beaten many of the other schools on the list most and thats Purdue. I don't think Illinois has a title, at least not an NCAA.
