  1. That's one of the all-time worst calls. Absolutely pathetic.

  3. AM 560 is but a rumor where I live. Of course, postgame hasn't been worth listening to for days now. Here's hoping tonight is different even though I won't be able to tune in.
  4. A [expletive] day at the ballpark is better than the best day anywhere else.
  5. Nope. I will be the vulture scooping up tickets for next to nothing.
  6. Send Lou over to handle things at Incapital.
  7. http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2010/06/june-may-bring-change-to-cubs-lineup.html Fukudome Castro Nady Colvin Soriano Fontenot Baker Hill Lilly
  8. Just .500 versus the sack of [expletive] that is Pitt would change the face of this season.
  9. Maloney considers it a sellout whenever you can no longer buy at least two contiguous seats.
  10. http://www.the506.com/sports/MLB10/may-29.html This handy map will allow you to determine whether or not you need to throw eggs at your local FOX affiliate HQ.
  11. Chicago Cubs -10 DIFF, 6 GB, NLC CARLOS SILVA (6-0, 3.52 ERA, 31K, 1.21 WHIP, 53.2 IP) http://www.chicagotribune.com/media/photo/2010-03/52962780.jpg vs. St. Louis Cardinals +40 DIFF, 1 GB, NLC ADAM OTTAVINO (PCL: 4-3, 4.17 ERA, 37 K, 1.17 WHIP, 41 IP) http://images.stltoday.com/stltoday/resources/adamottavino625mar2210.jpg
  12. Yep. That would have been prime stock at "Wrigley Premium" or whatever McDonough's scalping arm was called. I sat in the first row for Cubs/Cards a few years ago thanks to just such a gameday deal.
  13. These crowds are the smallest April/May draws since the first months of 2003, when they were routinely drawing less than 30,000. That hasn't happened at Wrigley Field since 27,105 tickets were sold for the September 7, 2006 game.
  14. Now 7-3 on the 'Death March.' Kick some Cardinal ass and all is well with the world.
  15. A 0-0 game isn't boring; if we go down 9-0, then that's excruciatingly boring.
