The Brewers haven't exactly been world-beaters lately. I wouldn't be surprised by a Cubs sweep. If I were betting, I'd bet a 2-1 series win for the Brewers.

Given how Jed operates, no one will be traded until he thinks he's getting good value. I expect they will make enough trades to get them under the luxury tax if they are not already under it and if anything else happens we will be pleasantly surprised by the return.

We want Mo to be a complete player. He’s not really a 1st baseman. He’s going to need a position and the only way is to learn through repetition and asses in a low steaks environment. It might be another year. I’d love to see him stay state side this offseason with a nutritionist and catching guru. The Cubs really messed up Morel trying to find him a spot when his bat was ready. -
The Cubs are in no man’s land. They don’t have one player, Nico who could bring back a future useful player. They aren’t going to buy and they have nothing to sell that will bring anyone of value back.
