    Troll much? Who mentioned Patterson in this thread? A. Patterson is not an option as he plays for Baltimore B. I don't expect Jones to go 0 for 06. C. He hits in the fith spot, Dusty cannot keep him there if he Ks on the same high frequencies as he has done so far. D. I asked, how long? If he goes into Tuesday without a hit how much longer can Dusty stick with him.

    Pat and Ron on XM 186 for me. I wish this were on TV. With Z against the Cards you never know what is going to happen. It should be very exciting, especially with the way Maddux made them look yesterday. I can't wait!

    Wow, I knew it was bad, just not that bad. Although if Walker wasn't cheapshoted by Carlos Lee last year he probably would have edged out the Neifurry.

    Maddux looked pretty impressive to me. He had the hitters out in front all day long. He hit all of his spots. It was vintage Maddux. He was in control the entire game.

    XM Radio (Holden Kushner) is reporting that "in essence Derek Lee has resended his deadline of the contract extention getting done...To tomorrow or tuesday at the latest". He went on to say that a deal is close.

    Ok. I put $100 of the Brewers to win the World Series at 60 to 1 odds. Right now they are 4-0. Only 158 games and let the playoffs begin.

    Neifi has no business starting but he seems to be a pretty good guy. Last year I bought four tickets to in "the home plate club" section at PNC as a father's day gift for my pop. My wife and I met my mom and dad in Pittsbugh and went to the game. The home plate club is pretty cool. Anyway, during batting practice Neifi took the time to talk to me for about five minutes when he saw me decked out in Cub blue. Nice guy. I tried to talk to Dubios, but I called him creature and if looks could kill, I'd be in boot hill. Needless to say, he didn't come over.

    Pujols gave the stink eye to Dempster after an up an in pitch in the 9th. Today's game should be interesting with Z on the mound. They really should fix the showers though. -------- As an aside, why wasn't this in Bruce's Miles column? Oh yea, that's right, Bruce writes about the game and leaves the soap opera stuff alone. I didn't even need to look at the byline to know who wrote the article.

    Yes he is. A good game does not erase a terrible career. My point is is that is getting a little ridiculous to see everybody freak out if he is in the starting lineup. He shouldn't be a starter, but obviously he will start some games this year. Can we stop the NSBB PMS whenever he is starting? start some games? who has the most PA's at second base this season? it ain't walker or hairston They have played 3 games this year. Wait to see how the season plays out. Having such a small sample size is horrible when trying to make an argument. Only when "sample size" (wrong term) is use for projections. Carless was stating a fact, don't know if it is ture. But he wasn't projecting.

    He is only among the worst hitters in all of major league baseball since 1900. THAT IS BAD. Today he got a bloop single on a ball that was a six inches of the ground and a lucky hop that golden boy Pujols should have stabbed. Neifi sucks, he should never start. Ever.
