  1. yea, it was part of the joke. Cool, just checking. Thought I might have missed a memo or something. Um...why is it out again? It's nondiscriptive and has pejorative canotations. It's still in use in geogrpahy. Oriental = East, Oxidental =West. Where those terms came from is beyond me.
  2. He's like 86 years old but looks 18. Some sort of oriental magic of some sort.
  3. Lilly is pitching soap dropping good.
  4. Blow outs I don't like biters. that read really wrong the first time I seen it..... No you read it correctly.
  5. No rules against it, but the Cubs could just take the walks until they got a safe lead, and then swing at every pitch even if it was 5 feet outside in order to strike out and end the inning. and then the cardinals miss the 3rd strike on purpose so it goes to the backstop. Then the Cubs' batter doesn't run to first base, and Molina doesn't go back to retrieve the ball. It'd be hilarious. It's like the South Park episode, when they are tired of playing baseball so they try to lose on purpose. Or the hockey episode where the tykes cannot skate and every game ends up in a tie until they have to play the Avalanche.
  6. Three. It's within the last ten games of the season. Yep, the Crew has them, San Diego, and the Mets to finish it out. That's why I think the Cubs will pull this thing out. SD and even perhaps NYM will be playing meaningful games. And both should school the Brewers.
  7. Let me try this out. I am soap dropping upset that we haven't yet found Bin Laden. I think I like that phrase. I will use it. Thanks.
  8. been hanging out with anthony reyes too much i guess.... tool! Beans and franks, beans and franks!
  9. "Soap dropping" pissed? Is that a metaphor? Check out the picture on of Andy Cavazos on Game Day
  10. I'm going to stand by my prediction as long as ST doesn't pitch. Whoever wins this division will be the tallest midget though.
  11. Link I expect ND to win this game. Michigan has nothing. Hart or heart alone will not win this game. When was the last time Michigan finished outside of the top 20/25?
  12. They would be smart to grab up DePo before Cuban does.
  13. I suspect the genius's record will be close to the same as his predecessor's after three seasons. The difference is he will do it with flair and a couple of top 5 recuriting classes. Anyone even MENTION Ty Willingham and I'll punch them in the face. Do you know the extent of Notre Dame's senior class helping the team right now? What about ND's Junior and Sophomore class? The genius went 9-3 and 10-3 with Ty's recruits. Oh, Ty Willingham

  15. RBI double Good for Ronny, I believe he will turn into a competent everyday shortstop in the next few years (I know, I'm one of the few). So do I.
  16. Aside from the silly religious reasons, I don't really see the disatvantegs. About living together before marriage and higher divorce rates; correlation does not equal causation. There are myriad factors that contribute to a divorce, I highly doubt co-habitation b/f marriage is one of them.
  17. Am I the only one that finds this funny? Now the Cubs have an expert in statistics in the dugout. 8-) I bet he knows what VORP stands for.
