He’s a major market broadcaster for a top brand MLB team. I can’t imagine it’s less than $500,000. There are comparatively few people who can do that job credibly. It has to be highly compensated. It’s not a job where getting a couple thousand a year in side hustles is worth the effort. But selling off memorabilia you just happened to acquire in your job with a baseball team reaks of those refs that sold back their airline miles they got for their jobs. I also think it's kind of tawdry that he's hawking merchandise he's acquired over the years of his work. I love his work, but there are a couple of head-scratching things about him. Taking off the 5th inning, not working spring training games, little jabs about having to work extra-inning games. Maybe he's just a weird dude.
