  1. We won't see Brian Schlitter again for 24 hours. probably longer, unless you happen to be flying from pittsburgh to des moines tomorrow.
  2. well, at least the cool guys are up in the top of the 9th, assuming that the bullpen doesn't give up another 15 runs.
  3. that kang guy picked a good time to get like his second hit ever.
  4. considering that replay seems to exist only to bone over the cubs, i vote no more replay. also joe west is a worthless fat [expletive] who should never be allowed to umpire a baseball game again.
  5. yeah, might as well see if jackson can be any good in the setup man role. we already know that schlitter is terrible so why keep throwing him out there?
  6. when is grimm coming back? ramirez? wada? anyone?
  7. hey let's let this guy singlehandedly blow a few more games before we grant him his unconditional release.
  8. schlitter has to throw the least impressive 95mph fastball of all time.
  9. schlitter vs the heart of the pirates' lineup? http://images2.fanpop.com/images/photos/7900000/2x06-Afternoon-Delight-Animated-gif-Michael-What-No-no-no-no-arrested-development-7915781-300-167.gif
  10. it's too bad this guy is a lousy pitcher, because radhames liz is a pretty rad name.
  11. how does he strike out so much but hit so many balls hard?
  12. kodos never would've gotten picked off like that.
  13. how is joe west still an mlb umpire? time to put his fat ass out to pasture with bruce froemming.
  14. that's actually a pretty good lineup against LHP. although i would think that both cervelli and sean rodriguez are better hitters against LHP than kang, who doesn't seem very good.
  15. the brewers desperately need to blow it up and start over. trading players like garza, ramirez (assuming he starts hitting), braun (see ramirez), gomez, lind and lucroy - plus any relievers deemed to have value by opposing teams - would be a good place to start.
  16. the biggest giveaways are advocating to trade for a proven hitter like ryan howard, and saying that the team is more important than baez attending his sister's funeral.
  17. i have no idea why someone would spend all that time writing something that is so obviously just a troll job. actually that entire blog is just a bad troll job. what a colossal waste of time.
  18. it would be nice to have him at 2b, but it is also nice to have fowler in cf instead of some garbage lake/szczur/sweeney/alcantara combo.
  19. i have been sort of blown away by how bryant has been pitched. he's obviously high-profile after his track record and his spring, but i thought it was just a given that mlb pitchers started every rookie out with a "well, he hasn't seen MY fastball" period. he's pitched around from day one. i was glad that he drilled that double on the 2-0 pitch, because i could easily see the meatballs starting to get on him for being too patient since he's hitting cleanup and is supposed to be driving in runs not getting on base.
