  1. if there's a next time, just have gore get down in a tiny crouch and hope that the pitcher or umpire are so flummoxed that he ends up drawing a walk. no swinging under any circumstances.
  2. does gore even know how to use a bat, like which end of it he's supposed to hold?
  3. Soler would disagree dexter fowler used to constantly get screwed on pitches like 6 inches outside.

  5. dovydas neuveraskus sounds he should be some third pairing defenseman for the penguins.
  6. yeah, giving up an out to get gore to second and then subsequently needing a hit out of victor caratini (can't hit in general) or albert almora (can't hit RHP) was not really a masterclass in managing.
  7. why not just put the slowest and most unathletic player on the bench in as pinch runner if you're just going to give up an out bunting them to second base? what a waste.
  8. considering that wilson really only has one pitch, i'm surprised this doesn't happen to him more often.
  9. I'm sorry, but horsefeathers the Cardinals and their fans. you don't ever have to apologize for that sentiment.
  10. if russell doesn't learn how to hit again before his later arby years and free agency he's going to have a hard time financially supporting the 37 kids he will have by that point.

  12. i don't really know why you'd pitch to caratini there. quintana hits like my grandmother and happ has been woeful since the ASB.
  13. austin gomber also sounds like the name of somebody who was destined to play for the cardinals.
  14. God i can't decide which one of those tweets i love more, they're both brilliant.
  15. [tweet] [/tweet] this doesn't seem like a great trend.
  16. judging by his stats this year, it doesn't seem like whatever he was on was working too well.
  17. everything i've seen had gallardo as one of the best pitching prospects and rated as better than a number of players who got bigger money. just wondering why he took $1m.
  18. the nba is basically the spanish league (soccer) where there's real madrid, barcelona, then a bunch of other teams who are hoping that maybe if they have a good year they can finish 3rd through 5th.
  19. uh so let's check in on lenny dykstra...
