    cristian hernandez was 2-3 with a double, a walk, hbp, 3 stolen bases, and 4 runs scored. seems to save his best games for when he is playing against the cubs. :lol:

    don't know anything about pedro ramirez from the DSL cubs red, but he's got a .386/.432/.544 line in 30 games and is only 17 years old.

    jerrick suiter pitched a perfect inning for the azl (acl?) cubs. the cubs drafted him in the minor league rule 5 draft to convert him to a pitcher. apparently he throws in the upper 90s.

    nelson velasquez donged again, his third in two nights (and he has 5 in his first 10 games at the AA level).

    combined no-hitter for south bend (2 innings for vizcaino, 6 innings for nahas, 1 inning for burl) 2 dongs for nelson velasquez, who has pretty good numbers this year but his BB/K ratio is terrible.
