    before this year i would've said absolutely. i still kinda think that this year is a fluke, given that he's been a very good reliever for several years. i probably would have even thought about keeping him around beyond this year. but he just doesn't seem to be getting the results that he got in the past, and i'm not sure why.

    i keep moving up every time there is an update... after spending most of last year in first place and then fading late, i'm apparently trying the opposite approach this year.

    hahaha, the mets' pen just imploded and gave up 5 runs to the phillies without getting an out in the 9th inning. 7-5 phils now. it's always fun to see the mets choke.

    I think Ozzie Smith's HOF-worthiness isn't a open and shut case. when a guy is, over a long period of time, providing above-average offense at his position, plus saving 20 runs over the average player at that position, he's a sure-fire hall of famer.
