my favorite stat from that team was tommie herr's 8 home runs but 110 rbi. i can't remember anybody getting that many rbi with a single-digit number of hr's.

i think there are like 3 minor leaguers that i actually care about in the cubs' system. -
i watched most of it but didn't see the goal. the refs probably should've blown the whistle but if they didn't, and the puck ended up in the net, there's no reason not to call it a goal unless you're making an interference call. the main reason we lost was because we couldn't beat lundqvist and when we did, he got lucky with a couple of posts/crossbars.
