    yeah south bend are piling on, it's 15-2. 14 of their runs came in the last 3 innings. dewees 4-6 with a double, triple (his 7th of the year?!?) and 6 rbi jimenez 2-4 with a double, homer and walk eddy julio martinez 0-3 but walked twice they also have a guy named sutton whiting on their team. sounds like a trust fund baby.

    the funny thing is that umpire metrics have suggested that joe west has been a terrible home plate umpire for ... well, pretty much as long as those metrics have existed. yet he continues to be employed and will be a crew chief until he voluntarily retires. just zero accountability for bad umpires. it's frustrating.
