well when your team sneaks into the playoffs in large part because the team they played in week 16 didn't try, and it's your first year in the league with a team that's a low seed, you might want to keep a lower profile rather than running your mouth every week. Conversely, when you've coached a team within 25 minutes of a Super Bowl in your first year with a mediocre rookie QB leading your offense, maybe you've earned the right to speak your mind. ok, i wasn't aware that he had coached a team within 25 minutes of the super bowl when he was running his mouth a month ago.
