Hes hitting .426 with a 1.159 OPS. Hes got to be. His night is over though, as Optiz has been put in for him. I hoe nothings wrong, or he hasnt been traded for a mediocre reliever. I know the Smokes are up 16-5, and they might want to giv him the rest of the night off, but hes a homer away from the cycle, and dont managers like to give guys the oportinity to finish the job? at this point we have five (castro, cashner, the jacksons, vitter), maybe six (hak-ju lee) prospects who shouldn't be dealt unless we get a very good player in return. -
carolina just traded a second rounder next year for a late 3rd rounder this year. they need to stop doing that.

surprised navorro bowman is still on the board. would love if the eagles could get him in this spot.

tennessee is absolutely wailing on carolina - it's 16-5 in the 6th inning. guyer - 2-3 (double, single), 3 runs, 2 rbi, 1 bb, 1 hbp castro - 3-4 (triple, double, single), 3 runs, 3 rbi, 1 hbp ty wright - 3-4 (single, 2 homers), 2 runs, 7 rbi, 1 bb chirinos - 1-2 (homer), 2 runs, 2 rbi, 2 bb -
now we've essentially traded the 55th overall pick for picks #86, 122, 125, 134 and 146. i think our master plan is to have every pick on saturday.

navorro bowman would be a good fit for the eagles here.

all of the eagles' maneuvering has essentially resulted in trading the 55th overall pick for picks #71, 125, 134 and 146. that's a lot of swag, as long as you can find some good players deeper in the draft.

awful start for raley: 2.0 ip, 8 h, 9 r, 4 er, 3 bb, 2 k. lots of unearned runs because kyler burke has 2 errors (and an OF assist). -
wish it were easier to find trade results... still no idea what the eagles got from the cowboys for trading down. found something saying that the eagles move back to dallas' position (4 spots down) and also pick up a 4th round pick (125 overall)

raley is supposed to be pretty polished with a ceiling of a #3/4, but he doesn't really have plus pitches. he got drilled in the first inning tonight (5 hits, 6 runs (3 earned), 1 bb, 2 k). some people said during the offseason that castro doesn't have plus speed, so i'd like to know how that can be true when he has 4 triples already. -
