    you're right, it's too cold to even go outside to my garage and wax my [expletive] snowboard. i could turn the propane heater on, but it's too cold to wait for it. i guess i could get wasted like everyone else does here. or you could try to mow your lawn. and if your lawnmower doesn't start, go get your shotgun and shoot at it.

    do they even show the nfl in new zealand? every playoff game is on live here, believe it or not, and there's always three sunday games on (1 PM, 4 PM, 8 PM eastern u.s. time) plus a MNF game and, if they're being played, thursday or saturday games. OneHD baby.

    i'm going with rapist because foot fetish's team is just really really obnoxious. not that the steelers don't have a few loudmouths but the jets just seem to be taking it to another level. mike tomlin strikes me as a classy guy and rex ryan is just a whale who won't shut up.

    http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=6028527 what sort of alternate universe is bart scott living in? where have people been disrespecting the jets' defense and talking about how great the pats' defense is? everyone knows the jets are very good defensively and everyone thought that the patriots' defense was their achilles heel. whatever fires you up i guess.

    flyers had kind of a line brawl against the rangers today. brandon prust was going to fight matt walker when walker was inexplicably drilled from behind by some other guy. walker ended up fighting some other guy, prust was matched up with darroll powe, who isn't a fighter. prust threw a couple of punches but mostly he realized the guy he was matched up against was not a fighter, and took it easy. sean avery, on the other hand, sought out matt carle (absoluteoly not a fighter) and fought him, continuing to throw punches after carle went down on the ice. just goes to show one guy who understands the code of the game (prust) and one clown who does not (avery).

    so at least two people believed that the spread would be double digits? this is embarrassing.

    except when have we actually been doing that? we were one of the lowest-spending teams in the draft last year, and i don't recall us making a huge splash internationally. it's not like we've been the red sox or pirates the last couple of years and are outspending most of the league to get top amateur talent.

    Because the Jets are scum. Well yeah, but rooting for the Pats is like rooting for the Yankees. except the nfl has a hard salary cap, so the pats are consistently winning because they're smarter than almost everybody, not because they just outspend everybody.
