i'm surprised at how, oh i dunno, likable he seems on that show he does on espn. he comes off as brash, stubbornly ignorant, and pretty damn stupid, but he doesn't seem like the same [expletive] that went off on hall of fame tirades that firejoemorgan made fun of him for i dont go out of my way to watch that show as its mostly fluff, but its not horrible yeah well that's because that show is the proper setting for him. it's lighthearted banter and requires very little sports knowledge or insight. he does have a good presence and delivery, so it's fine when he's talking about whether tom brady or justin bieber has better hair, or whether it would be more fun to go out for pizza with shaq or chad ochocinco. it's when he hosts a 3 or 4 hour sports talk show that he gets in trouble, because it's really hard to arrogantly present yourself as a know-it-all on every sports issue when you have done almost no research to back up whatever point it is you're trying to make.
