Well that certainly looks like an ugly return. It's not mind-blowing, but I don't think that's too far off for 2 months of Kosuke. A pen arm close to the big leagues and a toolsy DR OF who has K issues but still has time to work it out. one has to be realistic about fukudome, he's a corner OF who doesn't have much power, is declining defensively and is paid too much to be offered arbitration after the season. he's a two month rental, one that isn't even likely to be worth one win in his indians career, and that's it. really you're only going to get fringy prospects for a guy like that. plus if they're only kicking in half of fukudome's remaining money and they use the leftover $2m or whatever to sign maples, then that should certainly be taken into account.
