  1. that's just because you wanted to see him in spandex
  2. Well in his defense there's not much need to coddle a 34 year old veteran pitcher. Dempster isn't some young gun who's bullets need saving at this point in his career. (a) whose (b) he's likely going to be pitching for the cubs in future years, he's not retiring. there's no reason to put added stress on a guy's arm for no reason, especially when you're probably going to be paying him 8 figures to pitch for you the next year.
  3. i can't believe adam dunn struck out that infrequently in the minors. had to look it up for myself to verify.
  4. Top notch work Quade. Definitely a smart move having your starter throw almost 130 pitches in a meaningless September game.
  5. i can't believe steven jackson played all but 1 game the last 2 years. every year i have him in fantasy fb and it seems like he's either out for a week like 3 times a year, or he's questionable and i have no idea if he's going to play. at least this time he has seemed to hurt himself badly enough that it's very unlikely he'll play in week 2.
  6. your opponent played the saints d? that was a questionable move, to say the least. nate kaeding blowing out his knee on the first play of the game was pretty fortuitous for your side, though.
  7. cf also suffer a lot of injuries, and ss is different than 2b (injuries are more common among 2b than ss).

  9. which of your scrubs had monster games to pile up 100 point lead and possibly still win despite brady and welker going bonkers?
  10. chad henne and cam newton have thrown for over 400 yards in week 1
  11. I'll be the old crotchety guy. I don't want to see this happen. But I think you're right. At some point running will become like "hey they RAN it! Haha, weird." Not sure I want to live in that football world. it's almost like that now. 12 QB's have thrown for over 300 yards this week. i remember that used to be a benchmark that only 2 or 4 guys would reach each week.
  12. we have to be like 2 years away from nfl teams just never running the ball.
  13. i see this repeated frequently, but it doesn't hold up under a more critical eye.
  14. holy hell, did that home run that juan francisco hit actually land yet? that has to be one of the longest home runs ever hit in the GABP.
  15. a home run AND a walk from castro? need to change my pants.
  16. john grabow's major league career really should be over. he's awful and no team should sign him in the offseason.
  17. man you guys love jim cornelison... not sure i've ever heard a crowd start going bonkers like that for the singer of the national anthem. wonderful voice and energy.

  19. i love when the cowboys lose
  20. i wonder if the alien that entered bryan lahair's body and caused him to become good at baseball will leave during the offseason.
  21. You are using an extremely annoying program to post here. Tapatalk is great indeed. but can't you just make it so that it doesn't announce that you're using your droid to post? i don't get that when i use tapatalk on my iphone.
  22. my picks were horrendous. how does kansas city lose by 5 touchdowns to the [expletive] bills?
  23. let's get this over with so i can trade for some good players  also, tim's guys piled up a huge number of points this week, so his possibility of keeping napoli (great trade by the angels by the way, take on vernon wells' albatross contract while dealing away a catcher who posts an ops near 1.000), morneau, hanley, longoria, upton and greinke ain't happening.
