I'd love to participate, but being out here in central PA, I just don't watch enough games to give these guys a fair evaluation. I'm interested to see the results, though. -
Yeah, it's starting to look more and more like his 2005 season was more of a fluke than any sort of leap forward in development.

In other news, this was not a bad start for Rich Hill, even though he gave up 5 runs and will get the loss. His fielding let him down, and the offense completely sucks.

Why? Traded to the Tigers for Neifi Perez Good move, it saved the Cubs some money and still landed a catching prospect. Thanks Jim Hendry! That catching prospect has 3 hits tonight by the way, including a double and 3 rbi's for Daytona. Very good! Imagine if Hendry ended up getting a 8 time All-Star catcher for Neifi? Yes, life will be good again! Yeah we all know Hendry isn't that good.

espn had two runs as being earned in the 4th. i would think that some would have to be unearned. if cedeno had thrown to 1st on the chopper, rollins would have never hit. but that gets assumed as a FC and not an error, right? Kinda screws over the pitcher.

why bat him 2nd? his offensive production is absolutely wasted there. his strength is his power. Put Barrett in the 2 hole and bat Soriano 5th-6th. I don't really see why it matters - nobody on the cubs gets on base, so Soriano will usually have the bases empty whether he bats first or fifth
