i mean, he's right, so... even if kyle were right about everything, which he's not, his volume of posts is tiresome. he's basically a less dumb but more arrogant version of slide castro slide.
one can't really say that, no...not if it's a meaningful sample size. i don't care what a player is OPSing or what rate they're walking at if they're striking out 40% of the time in the PR winter league. in 5 games, when half of them came in his first competitive baseball game in like 4 months.
weren't half of those in his first game? i mean, one could easily turn that around and say that a 40% k-rate is pretty meaningless when you're hitting an extra base hit every game and walking 10% of the time.
i have no clue. i only see stuff when people tweet it/post it. someone said he has a 1.200 OPS though http://www.mlb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?gid=2014_12_19_cagwin_sanwin_1&t=g_box&sid=l133 his line in PR is: .444/.476/.889/1.365 with 2 walks and 8 strikeouts in 5 games. for what it's worth, the PR winter league seems offensively-challenged. his club's OPS is .616.
i remember last year when the dodgers signed brian wilson to a 2 year, $19.5m contract, i had to double check and make sure that it wasn't a joke. well, he was released today, meaning that the dodgers got one year of a 4.66 ERA for nearly $20m.
if that's true, that's a pretty sweet deal for nix. he gets the amount of money he was originally supposed to get from the astros, then can go back into the draft (presumably) and get another big signing bonus.
how has this not been posted yet? http://www.omaha.com/huskers/bo-pelini-transcript-i-d-rather-work-at-mcdonald-s/article_4f3583d6-8637-11e4-b708-3fa46a3a8147.html?mode=jqm now he's going to work for jim tressel. i think we can safely say that youngstown state will be class personified, on and off the field.
