    Hopefully he's improved his release point over last season. He could've had several more assists if it weren't for all of the throws that he drilled into the turf or sailed over his target. He's got a strong arm.

    I think Miller needs to worry about not getting fatigued and getting to a good place pitching wise instead of focusing on young Sean. Obviously that doesn't mean he's not thinking about it. Ideally the guys rehabbing would have no clue what's going on on the big league club, but we all know that's not the case.

    I'm on!! This kid's fun to watch. I'm fully expecting him to be traded by the trade deadline. It makes me nervous what's going to happen when both Prior and Miller get back. You think Miller's getting nervous??

    lol? Zambrano "failed to step up as a leader" because he didn't win games? Tough to win when your offense, as you stated about 47 times, doesn't score. Funny...seems that Z's only start since we REALLY went into a funk, he threw 7 shutout innings. Seems to me he stepped up when we needed him most, but unfortunately, we got shut out and lost in extra innings. Can't blame him for that. No...St. Louis fans would say he didnt' pitch "well enough to win"...these "best fans in baseball" are also ones who profess how important the "win" is as a stat in evaluating a pitcher and lauded the talents of Matt Morris when he won 18 games, despite a 5.something ERA. but it wasn't as important of a stat last season when they were campaigning Carp for Cy Young

    Amazing how you joined after the 2005 regular season, and have gotten 4376 posts until now... Especially in the off-season! I've been here a season and a half and I only have around 5,500. I've been here for almost 2 years, read the site every day, and only have 155 posts now. :D Some of us emphasize quality over quantity - at least that's what I tell myself. :lol: good call, now I can feel better about myself I guess these last two posts sort of blow that theory out of the water though.
