The most consistent and best Cub position player was Nico Hoerner. Runner up in batting title, gold glove etc. A rumor on Yahoo that the Cubs might trade him and bring in Bregman and switch Shaw to 2B.

That would be the most stupid move since the Lou Brock trade. Bregman is a quality player, but will be expensive and it would be a long term contract. Neither Shaw nor Hoerner should be traded, period.
