Notification delay?

I'm gonna try to keep a closer eye on things, but it seems like I've had some delayed notifications.  I just had a notification pop up for a post of mine that was quoted an hour ago, and I'd been on the site for a while now this afternoon.  It's POSSIBLE that maybe I just didn't notice it, but...I don't think so.  I'd had a few other times recently that I thought I had some notification shenanigans, so I thought I'd just put it out here and see if anyone else had noticed anything?

I've noticed it occasionally but usually the notifications are pretty quick, if not immediate. What are others experiencing?

I agree...if it's an issue, it's intermittent at best.  I'll try to keep an eye out to get more details if possible.  Minor thing.
