I made some changes. In my haste to make sure I don't lose due to BS again this year, I misread his positions. Actually was surprised to see he didn't play 2b at all last year.

 

That being said, I don't think he qualifies at 3b either though. According to your rules a player needs 7 games and 63.0 innings. Javy only played 1 game and 9 innings last year.

Another good catch. I would say I don't know how that slipped past me, but looking at stats every day gets tedious. My fault. It's corrected on the Wiki page.

So here is what I am thinking ... and it's not up for debate, because it's also helping my sanity during WFH/Quarantine.

 

I was sold on the grand commercial that was the MLB Dream Bracket, and I purchased OOTP 21. What I am going to do, to hopefully entertain the HR Derby and NSBB Community, is to simulate the 2020 Cubs season. I'm posting the daily results within a WordPress blog. I'm working on getting that online, and when I have a good chunk ready to share, I will post the link here. I'm hoping to have it coded and ready to publish by the end of the week.

Okay - so now that we will have some semblance of baseball this year, do we want to play HR Derby for a 60-game season, or should we just scrap it for this year and blame 2020?

I have decided to scrap the HR Derby for the 2020 MLB Season.

We will try it again in 2021.
