Same day tix

How difficult is it now a days to get same day tickets? I will be in Chicago with family July 30-aug 1 and was thinking about a Cubs game. There would be 3 of us. Are games pretty empty?

How empty it is depends on who they're playing, but unless it's the Cardinals there's going to be some decent seats still available. I've got my tickets for the 30th available, but it's just a pair.

They're good and the price is fair. I sat in them last weekend for Cubs/Cards.

Yeah, despite the often crap product, I've been really happy with those seats. The section is usually only 60-70% full at the most, so there's always plenty of room to spread out. Bathroom nearby, too.

I thought it sometimes depends upon show or game's popularity.If very less audience are there then you can get as many tickets as you want even on the same day but if it is popular then it's quite difficult to get a single ticket even before one month.

I can do 4 in 102/104 for just about any game if anyone needs more than two.
