does paniagua project as a starter or reliever? for some reason i had been assuming that he's a reliever.

 

He'll likely be groomed as a starter until he proves he can't do that.

Nah. Probably Peoria, maybe Daytona.

 

He's got 35.2 career innings before this season, all in the DSL and all in 2009-10.

Law mentioned he expected Paniagua to start at Peoria or Daytona next year. Not shocking. But man, that velo was awesome to hear about and even caught me a bit by surprise. It won't surprise me at all to see him in plenty of top20's by the main publications, even with the lack of track record.
