I didn't see a whole lot of Mejia before I had to make lunch for the kids and one of them snagged control of the tv while I was in the kitchen. How does he look? Reports on velocity, command, breaking pitches, etc. would all be welcome.

His fastball has been in the low to mid 90's. Command has been good. One walk, but it was intentional. Curveball & changeup have been effective.

Thanks, Fred. He's obviously not blowing guys away with his stuff, but that's to be expected for a 20 year old making his first mlb start.

Duda struck out swinging , Beltran stole second base, Castillo stole home.

lol - that sounds like an interesting play. With two out after the K, why throw through to second base?
