I've seen that video and it's actually very good. Of course there's very little actual instruction from Dusty Baker. In fact, there's a scene toward the end where Dusty contradicts most of what the good hitting instructor says.

 

Except....that was a book cover...not a video. :)

Looking at the Amazon page there's a book and a vhs of the same title/same picture of Dusty

 

But the cover above has a quote from Hank Aaron referring to "this book". I stand by my claim. :)

I actually own that book, got it as a kid when I was playing baseball.

he just worded it poorly. he was just saying that if you get a golden opportunity to win the game in extras and fail, it usually ends up coming back to haunt you. aka you're not likely to get another chance that good

I actually own that book, got it as a kid when I was playing baseball.

 

I'd like to see that book "Do what worked for me. After all, it worked for me dude."

 

The video actually helped me teach kids to turn their hips which a lot of young kids don't naturally do when they hit.
