Hes just one of those guys whose been with the organization for so long its time to poop or get off the pot. Theres no guarantee he'll do anything or worth, or even be an upgrade over Cotts, but Cotts is clearly done for. 2005 is 4 years ago now, and he hasnt done anything of worth since. Just give Mathes his Starbucks and see what he can do.

 

At least Mathes can get an audition long enough for Harden to come back,a nd if that fails, go with the Wells as starter/Marshall to the pen until something else materializes.
