Is it time to worry about the offense yet?

Only 1 run in the past 2.5 games.

Only 2 walks in the past 2.5 games.

15 k's in the past 2.5 games.

We are only averaging just over 4 runs a game?

I thought we were supposed to have the best offense in the league this year? Yeah, I know it's only the 15th game of the season for us, but when do you start to worry?

DLee looks as if he'll never rebound

Bradley looks as if he'll never see the field

Fontenot's spring looks like an abberation

Soto is in a sophmore slump and who knows if he'll pull out

and Miles, well if we keep having to rely on him as an injury sub - god help us.

When is it time to really start to worry?

I expected a regression. No way are we the best offense in the NL, but we'll be among the top 4 teams in the NL at the end of the year.

My Real Concerns:

Geovany Soto

Chicago Cubs Depth

Kevin Gregg

Carlos Zambrano

Rich Harden

My Whatever Concerns:

Mike Fontenot

Ryan Theriot

Our Bullpen

Ryan Dempster

Derrek Lee

Aramis Ramirez

Things I'm Not Concerned About:

KF

Ted Lilly

Sean Marshall

Milton Bradley

Alfonso Soriano

Milwaukee Brewers

St. Louis Cardinals

In reality, I'm going to get worried about making the playoffs when one of the following go out for an extended period of time: {Aramis Ramirez, Carlos Zambrano, Kosuke Fukudome, Alfonso Soriano}.

So you think one of the Reds, Pirates or Astros will win the division, then?

The one thing that bugs me more and more each day is the DeRosa trade. Granted, hes OPSing in the .600s in Cleveland although he has 3 HR and 15 RBI.

My point being is how did they not realise how valuable this guy was? he was one of the more consistant hitters on the team, and could play multiple positions. Also, they talk about "trading high", but when you have a guy whose been great for you, and now hes in his contract year, wouldnt you expect him to be even better?

When they were trading him to free up cash for Peavy, it made sense, but when we came up empty on that, and then end up paying 3 mil between Miles and Gathrigt, meanwhile inexplicably eating 4 million on Vizcaino, it gets more and more frusterating.
