The Dodgers have signed left-handed reliever Will Ohman to a one-year minor-league deal.

Ohman, 32, appeared in 83 ganes last season with the Atlanta Braves. He went 4-1 with a 3.68 ERA and 53 strikeouts.

"Will is a durable, proven left-handed reliever who has demonstrated over the course of his career the ability to get left-handed hitters out," Dodgers GM Ned Colletti. "He has also shown a willingness to take the ball whenever he's needed."

Ohman threw a two-inning simulated game against minor-league hitters Sunday at the team's training complex. Colletti, manager Joe Torre and other members of the front office attended the session.

He was looking for over $2 million a year, but has to sign a minor-league deal. Apparently, there is a 2nd year option.

rough market. Last I had heard, he was considering the Pirates. Dodgers are the better team, but he probably would have seen more ML time in Pittsburgh
