Cubs Convention Tickets

I'm having a bit of a disagreement with my Dad.

 

He insists that Cub Convention tickets have been shipped and should be in hand before Christmas.

 

Everywhere I looked (ebay, stubhub, etc) says they'll ship on 12/29 (if any date is given at all).

 

I purchased some tickets for him from ebay and told him they wouldn't be in by Christmas and he's worried.

 

 

So, has anyone gotten their tickets in hand, yet?

The Cubs said they'd ship the week of 12/17. That's all I've got.
