Zambrano had Ozzie Guillen over for dinner Friday night -- they are both from Venezuela -- and the White Sox's manager encouraged Zambrano to go on the disabled list. "I told him last night I was going to miss one start," Zambrano said. "He said, 'No, you gotta miss two.' I said no, 'Just one.' He said, 'Why don't you go to the DL?"' Zambrano had been scheduled to pitch this Tuesday and then again next Sunday against the White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field.

 

Guillen wants Carlos to miss two starts, both of which would be against...the White Sox. It's just coincidence, I'm sure (or am I...), but it's pretty ironic...

I don't think we're going to have to worry about Z going to the White Sox anytime soon though:

My bad. Even more damning though. Ozzie really wanted him to miss that second start, one wasn't good enough...

Honestly, I don't think there is a more pathetic organization. All they do is badmouth and rip on the Cubs. It's kind of funny how the Cubs know it's just another series, and they want to beat up on the Sox because it's another series and they want to beat up on everyone. The Sox treat this as life and death though. They run their mouths whether they win or lose, and we just let our play on the field do the talking. You'd never hear Lou or the Cubs players run their mouths after a game like the Sox do. What an embarrassment.
