How soon do most of you line up for bleacher seats? I know I'm usually the one in our group stuck waiting in line while the others are enjoying the bars across the streets. I enjoy being within the first five rows, but sometimes wonder if it is really worth it.

I'll be back in August fo the Cardinals series with only my wife. I doubt she wants to sit in line for 90-120 min so just trying to get an idea what others do.

It's entirely dependent on the day/series.

Sometimes there is already a pretty decent line two and a half - three hours before the game when I get there. Sometimes it doesn't start filling up to about an hour before.

For day games I usually get there like an hour before the park opens, and can get front row. For night games, I get there like half an hour before the park opens, also front row. I've noticed the lines are a lot longer for day games, probably because at night people are coming from work or whatever.
