I'm not very confident about the rotation right now outside of Z and Lieber. Lilly and Hill have looked terrible while Marquis and Dempster are almost sure to suck.

 

Might it have something to do with the fact that both depend on big looping curveballs and that Arizona isn't known to being kind to such pitchers?

I know that's a joke, but, I mean, come on. Spring training is essentially meaningless. I don't know why anyone cares about these stats/performances.

 

The same thing happens every year. People freak out about great or terrible spring performances and then the season starts and everyone forgets about it.
