I think Hawk is bringing down DJ.

It seems every Sox broadcast I watch, Hawk is talking about the greatest player at a specific task, rather than the game at hand. He doesn't offer insight to what's occurring in the live game.

Plus he's an irrational homer.

Hell I might even bare listening to a sox game or two with stoney in it. I gotta see what Hawk will sound like without a "croney" to agree with everything he says. .

Stone regularly kisses Kenny Williams ass and brilliance (and the Sox organization as a whole) on the Sox radio flagship. He DOES hold punches whe it comes to the Southsiders and routinely bashes the Cubs. Can't tell you how many times he mentions the greatness of Kenny and the fact the Sox have put together three winning seasons in a row, "something that hasn't happened on the Northside in a really long time".

Stone's shtick is tiresome and boring. He was better when he didn't have an axe to grind.

I don't listen to him all that often on the Score, but I did happen to listen to a little bit on Tuesday. Anyways, a caller asked him what team he roots for and he answered that he roots for both the Cubs and the Sox. He mentioned how he loves Chicago considers it home and he would like to see Chicago win (Northside or Southside).

It very well could have been an answer that would appeal to the masses (i.e. Score listeners). But, then again maybe he normally answers questions like those candidly (I don't really know since I rarely listen to him).

Take it for what it's worth. I just figured I throw it out there.
