He was on SportsNite tonight, not a whole lot but said a couple of interesting things.

 

 

When asked if the Kendall trade was all for Hendry, he said Hendry will definitely be looking but there are no glaring holes (?????). But a full time RF is something he'd be looking for.

 

Guy brought up Dunn and Griffey.

 

Said Dunn doesn't necassarily fill what the Cubs need or something like that, but him being a free agent next year helps make him more a fit than Griffey would with his big contract for next year being a problem.

 

All in all he said that adding payroll beyond this year might be a problem, sighting their inability to extend Z.

 

 

Seemed like mostly speculation from the way outside looking in.
