Who makes the playoffs?

Just curious how the playoffs work...I don't remember. How many teams get in? Is being in the tougher division gonna hurt me?

MM and I have been discussing that for the last couple of weeks and we are not sure. Last year it was the top 4 teams. This year it could be a number of scenarios. Tim would have to answer this question.

I believe it is the top 2 in each division, but I haven't looked since spring.

Playoffs last for two periods, so that would be two teams per division.
