2007 "radio guests" Cubs Convention announced. .

Hey! For those of us staying home and planning to have a good time listening to the Cubs radio guests, Jan 19-21. Here is the line-up on WGN radio.

 

FRIDAY

7-9 pm. Sports Central: Kap/Waddle

 

7:00 - Dempster, Derosa, Eyre

7:30 - Hendry, Piniella, Hughes, Santo

8:00 - Lee, Soriano, Barret

8:30 - Wood, Prior, Zambrano, Lilly

 

 

SATURDAY

===========

9-10 am. Meet Cubs Management: Hendry, Piniella, Randy Bush

10:30-11:30 am. Not for Women Only: Mike Bielecki, Cotts, Theriot, Eyre, Marshall

12 - 1 pm. So you wanna be a major leaguer: Barret, Billy Williams, Tim Stoddard

1:30 - 2:30 p.m Tales from the Bullpen: Lee Smith, Rod Beck, Eyre, Dempster

 

 

Odd that Prior is there, just because it seems like he's been "hidden", this off-season. Let's just say not mentioned much. I can't wait to hear what he says. I also look foward to hearing Piniella, and PAT and RON again!! Not a really "fun" saturday. Sad that Len and Bob aren't there.

I'm going to keep my computer on and set the audacity to record. So I hope so. Even if not, they will have an mp3 within a few days I think. .

Common guys! It's only a few hours away now! Starting at 7:00 p.m. we will get to hear PAT and RON again! Aren't you ready to hear them again!!

 

7:00 - Dempster, new Cub Derosa, and Eyre: should be funny

 

7:30 - Hendry, Piniella (will he promise a WS as he reportidly did at the caravan), Good 'ol radio guys Ron Santo and Pat Hughes (I can't wait to hear what Ron thinks about the 07 Cubs.)

 

8:00 - Talk to the big bats, Derrek Lee, new cub Alphonso Soriano, and Michael Barret

 

8:30 - Pitcher talk with Wood, Prior (will he finally contribute again?) , Zambrano, and new cub Ted Lilly

 

I'll record these if anyone has webspace. However within 24 hours they will probably be available anyway.
