So, looks like the Yankees are pulling out of Columbus and moving to Scranton-Wilkes Barre. Washington is moving in to Columbus, but I haven't heard where Philly is heading.

 

I haven't looked up the history, but seems like the Yankee/Columbus and Philly/S-WB relationships have been around for a while. Wonder how those local fans will react

Philly is going to Ottawa and then moving the franchise to Allentown Pa in 2008.

 

The displaced Orioles appear likely headed to Norfolk. Leaving the Mets with no other option than New Orleans.

I think that puts all of their ML affiliates within 2.5 Hours of Baltimore.

I read in my local newspaper yesterday that the Mets did, in fact, sign an agreement with New Orleans.
